A little help here guys,thxs:faint:
Click the file, then right click > open with > select vlc and make sure the “always use the selected program to open this kind of file” has a check mark on it. Click ok.
VLC is only auto default when opening mkv files from what I can tell.
You may need to go into the windows media player options an tell it not to be the default player for videos. I have had trouble in the past when WMP refuses to let go of file associations.
Thats alot guys, that reall help=).Snice I really don’t want to make another topic,do guys know what sort of codec or program is added to use vitruedub?
If you mean virtualdubmod then you just need the Xvid codec most likely. What exactly are you trying to do. This would make it much easier to help you ![]()

If you have CCCP installed and it doesn’t work then you need to do this. Go to the Star Menu and find the CCCP folder, then find the ffdshow video decoder configuration option and click on it. When it opens up, select Codec on the left and then on the Xvid record select libavcodec instead of disabled.
How ever if you have some other configuration then you should post that info ![]()
