48: spirited away by miyazaki aka Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi
109: princess mononoke aka Mononoke-hime by Miyazaki again.
227: grave of fireflies aka Hotaru no haka

princess mononoke beat the six sense and gone with the wind

Haven’t seen Grave of the Fireflies, but I heard it’s so sad, which puts me off. sad.gif

Spirited Away totally deserves it. I’m not so sure about Mononoke though. Sure it’s a nice movie but if any other Miyazaki film deserves to make the list before that one it should be Nausicaa.

And yes Grave of the Fireflies is very sad, it’s about the bombing of Hiroshima in WWII, from the perspective of a kid. It’s still a great film though.

This is what I found on the largest French site about movies this morning :

One can even watch the 6 first minutes of nausicaa.
The movie will be shown in theaters soon (august 26) in France for the first time !
I don’t know about other countries…

..I heard that princess monoke is really good but unfortunatly there were too much violence and massacre scences in that anime therefore it was forced to cut off some fightings .

But i will download it on this sunday…I am so behind now :coffee:
