The Suzuka manga just got licensed in the US and will start coming out in August from what I saw on Amazon a few days ago …
Out of interest is there a batch torrent to bring this more or less up to date (scanlated pref) I looked (not hard but i looked) and couldn’t find it anywhere…
edit ok I looked a little harder adn found a group that did up to vol 10, and one that did from 11 onwards, sadly the up to 10 group dont seem to have any torrents / direct downloads going for this anymore and have dropped the project. This makes me a very unhappy panda as I cannot find 1-10 anywhere else arrgggghhh
believe me i have looked EVERYWHERE to find an up to date torrent with suzuka thats BEEN scanlated however i can’t find one
i think i remember a raw somewhere but if its in english and up to date then its irc thats the only way i believe so far
as i put in the link gotlurk.net has them translated up to the latest chapter but its threw irc

BTW did you notice a real drop in quality about half way thru. I dont know if it was a dif group or something but the scans seemed worse the the use of english suddenly became appauling, even to me (who can barely use the language despite it being my mother tounge).

Well I’m glad somethings happend. Those two had really stagnated and it was getting boring. Ok the side story with th addidas guy n Yuuka was interesting but really the main two should be interacting more easily. And what the hell has happened to my beloved honoka-chan. I know she’s persuing an “idol” career (whatever that is) but she must still be in school (or on TV at least). And Yui, she dropped straight off the radar shortly after being billed as a new important person, ok she was jsut a distraction and didn’t merit much attention but still… And Miki has been reduced to occational background noise. They really dont capitolise on thier cast. However (and this was my point when i mentioned honoka) if Suzuka does go abroad then perhaps there may be a resurgance of the others. As for having reasons to go, well maybe she does. After all long before she met Yamato she wanted to be all she could be in the high jump. Odds are she would be being sent to a special training facility and would be able to get the best out of herself there with the best coaching and equiptment. So its not that strange. My girlfriend went away for a year and while it sucked some it was part of her career path and we’d only been going out for 6 months or so.
Yamato should not take it so personally, its an oppertunity that could define her future as an athlete, or a boyfriend who she fights with constantly, and there’s no saying she couldn’t have both if he just thought about it a bit.

ok sorry for the double post but i thought the bumb might alert people to the fact there is a new one out.
So I was right, she wants to be a better athelete and knows that the oppertunity is good to pass up. Given that, the only choices open to the pair is to throw in the towel or give it a try. Hell with all the training and stuff they do its not like they spend every waking moment together so it won’t be that bad.
However the only way to keep the series going is if a) she doesn’t go, the only reason for this would be him or injury. If its the former I may have to kill someone, if its the later it could be interesting or 
she goes and then they have to split the eps between america (her) and Japan (him) and the various persures that will be put on them and thier bond by thier different environments (hopefully with a now famous more confident honoka 
)

u can’t have suzuka manga without suzuka so i don’t think she’ll go or it follows her in america but that is unlikely to happen
